*Prior woodworking experience in a cabinet shop is highly recommended and will be given preference for this position*
Come and join our team of approx 30 employees as we work hard to create beautiful custom cabinetry for the home. Our customer base extends along the east coast from New England to Florida. Showcase your woodworking skills at a company that provides quality craftsmanship to everything we touch!
Duties included but not limited to:
- Produce high end custom cabinetry (residential). We sell to designers, architectural firms, etc.
- Operate & maintain CNC machine to produce wooden parts to customized specifications.
- Monitor CNC machine operation, learning & making the basic adjustments that occur throughout the course of a shift.
- Loading & unloading raw materials by hand & electric pallet stacker/jack, including wood & sheet goods, on to the CNC machine or other designated inventory locations (please note that this is a physical job and some sheets of plywood weigh between 50-75 lbs).
- May also be called upon to assist with other woodshop tasks, such as sawing, planing, sanding, and using hand tools.
- Able to work overtime (when required)
Qualifications:
- Prior cabinet production experience takes preference
- General knowledge of CNC machine operation takes preference
- Flexible and adaptable in order to get the job done
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to do basic, computer tasks on CNC machine computer screen
- Manages time wisely and is self-motivated/takes initiative
- Positive attitude toward change
- High attention to detail with a willingness to learn
- Capable of critical thinking
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
