What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, screening processes, and/or policy questions while maintaining a professional presence.

Support staff and visitors during medical-related emergencies, facility disruptions, and/or after-hours activity by following post orders and communicating with supervisors and local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Vaccines are required for this hospital site.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
-
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
