Overview
Sellers & Associates, Inc., a Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Firm, is seeking a motivated experienced Civil Engineer to design, develop and administer public infrastructure projects. Sellers & Associates, Inc. provides consulting services for a wide range of projects including water production, treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, solid waste facilities, roads and bridges, drainage, and coastal restoration.
Responsibilities
- Manage, design, develop, and maintain projects in an efficient, timely, and sustainable manner
- Conduct site investigations/observations throughout design and construction of projects
- Analyze technical data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare construction documents including technical specifications and construction plans
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Actively manage projects to resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies
- Coordinate and inform clients of project status
- Manage project budgets and expenditures
- Obtain and comply with regulatory and environmental permits
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of Work experience in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer Licensure
- Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Project management and supervision skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
