Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute ideas for seasonal or specialty drinks to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment with a strong focus on customer service
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service
- Background in food handling, food safety protocols, and beverage presentation standards
- Previous experience managing bar inventory, developing beverage menus, or bar management responsibilities is a plus
