Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems accurately for retail sales transactions.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while providing friendly customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, including food handling areas, kitchen surfaces, and dining spaces.
- Assist with food safety management by following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Support other team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Responsible for making sure daily cleaning tasks are completed.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
