Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development while integrating curriculum development, literacy education, and behavior management strategies. Your enthusiasm will inspire young learners and support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through innovative lesson planning and classroom management.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers’ developmental stages, including early intervention and literacy activities
- Foster a safe, caring environment that encourages exploration, learning, and social interaction among young children
- Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social skills and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs and progress in their development journey
- Conduct assessments of children's growth using standardized testing methods when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom activities
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, specifically with toddlers
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices including Montessori or similar educational philosophies
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with classroom management, lesson planning, and behavior management techniques
- Ability to implement curriculum development strategies that include literacy education and physical education activities
- Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention programs is a plus
- Certification in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant coursework or training in toddler care highly valued

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
