Exponential Mortgage is seeking an experienced mortgage loan processor to join our operations team. This team member will efficiently process mortgage loans in accordance with mortgage and guidelines, while meeting various deadlines and maintaining satisfaction levels.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing documents: Gathering and organizing all the necessary documents and paperwork for a loan application
- Reviewing applications: Ensuring that all application sections are complete and accurate, and correcting any mistakes
- Interviewing applicants: Gathering information about the applicant's financial background, employment status, salary, assets, and debt
- Performing credit checks: Evaluating the applicant's credit history and performing credit background checks
- Working with underwriters: Researching applicants and determining their loan eligibility
- Updating applicants: Keeping applicants informed throughout the application process
- Following up with applicants: Keeping in contact with successful applicants to answer questions and remind them of payments and contract obligations
- Finalizing loan contracts: Finalizing loan contracts and keeping clients informed of rules and obligations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar function.
- Prefer experience with Encompass.
- Confident in all phases of the mortgage loan origination process with a firm grasp on products and regulations for conventional and Non-QM loans.
- Must have strong judgment and decision-making skills and excellent communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
