Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Handyman to join our growing team. This role involves a wide range of residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling work across active job sites throughout Salt Lake County and Utah County.
The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, professional with clients, and capable of handling both independent work and team-based projects. Candidates who are comfortable with modern technology, digital communication, and time tracking systems will be strongly considered.
Responsibilities
* Perform residential repair and maintenance work including carpentry, painting, drywall, minor plumbing, electrical, fixture installations, and general handyman services
* Assist with remodeling and renovation projects as needed
* Inspect job sites and identify scope of work required
* Maintain clean and organized work areas
* Communicate professionally with clients and team members
* Accurately track time, job progress, and task completion using company systems/apps
* Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
* Assist with seasonal Christmas light installations during winter months
What We’re Looking For
* Several years of handyman, construction, remodeling, or home repair experience
* Strong knowledge of general residential maintenance and repair
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
* Honest, accountable, and able to communicate clearly with both customers and team members
* Comfortable using smartphones, apps, digital communication tools, and time-tracking systems
* Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish, including maintaining quality standards, staying on schedule, and proactively communicating progress or issues
- Strong sense of accountability and pride in workmanship, with attention to detail and follow-through on commitments
- Capable of managing tasks efficiently while coordinating timelines, materials, and client expectations when needed
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
* Clean and responsible driving record preferred
* Must be comfortable working on ladders and at heights when necessary
* Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Schedule
* Monday through Thursday schedule during summer months
* Busier schedules may occur during winter holiday installation season
