Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, handling waste properly, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist in food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
- Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and order management.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a food industry setting.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately.
