About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing group. Your primary focus will be ensuring our machinery remains safe, dependable, and ready for production. You will handle everything from routine repairs and preventative maintenance to complex troubleshooting across our robotic, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, while also driving continuous improvement efforts.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on environment. You should be comfortable working autonomously to address production needs and eager to support the growth and technical development of your teammates.
Core Responsibilities-
Execute preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure our manufacturing machinery operates at peak reliability.

Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotic, and electromechanical systems.

Provide rapid response to equipment failures to minimize production delays and implement effective, lasting repairs.

Coordinate and oversee equipment PM schedules to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed with precision and on time.

Analyze equipment performance data to detect potential issues before they cause unplanned downtime.

Utilize technical blueprints and schematics for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to guide your diagnostic process.

Operate a wide range of power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Provide mentorship to trainees and junior technicians to help build the overall technical expertise of the maintenance department.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to solve complex equipment and process challenges.

Engage in daily production briefings to share updates regarding safety, quality, maintenance status, and improvement initiatives.

Perform root cause analysis to recommend permanent solutions that prevent recurring equipment failures.

Follow all established work instructions, safety protocols, and maintenance room procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to ensure the facility is always production-ready.

Document all repairs, maintenance logs, and equipment issues with high attention to detail.

Propose improvements to maintenance processes and equipment reliability to boost overall team performance.

Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and initiative, whether working independently or as part of a collaborative group.

Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations and internal company safety policies.

Complete additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.

Strong aptitude for mechanical and electrical systems with a history of troubleshooting industrial machinery.

Working knowledge of electromechanical, robotic, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Ability to interpret and apply technical schematics for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Proficiency in the use of advanced and basic maintenance tools.

Proven ability to solve complex technical problems.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to accurately follow complex instructions.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with production and engineering staff.
Preferred
-
Completion of a formal Maintenance Technician or Trainee program.

Experience troubleshooting industrial robotics and PLC systems.

Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment.

Basic computer literacy and experience using CMMS or similar management software.

Technical certifications or coursework from a recognized technical institution.
Physical Requirements-
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds during daily maintenance tasks.

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and climb while working on or around manufacturing equipment.

Ability to work safely in industrial environments near electrical systems, moving machinery, and elevated equipment.
