The Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor role in supporting Medrina’s financial strategy and decision-making processes. This role is a blend of business partnering, financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate is a disciplined self-starter, analytical, comfortable collaborating across departments in remote setting and has knowledge of healthcare finance concepts. The analyst will engage in multiple workstreams and manage ongoing deadlines through prioritization, initiative-taking, resourcefulness, and ability to learn new technical skills and business concepts to create solutions. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and team skills are necessary. This position reports to the FP&A Director.
This is a full-time role operating from central or eastern regions of United States during standard business hours Monday - Friday (from your home office remotely) with occasional travel in the United States. This is not a flexible schedule opportunity. The candidate must reside in central or eastern region of United States. This role offers an annual salary of $90,000 - $100,000 plus up to 10% annual performance bonus. We offer robust benefits package including 15 days of vacation, 7 paid holidays, and 5 sick days. - Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights that support strategic and operational decisions through budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and KPIs
Develop and maintain executive reporting and financial analytics supporting ACO performance, including attribution, patient growth, utilization, provider performance, quality outcomes, and shared savings.
Support ad hoc projects including BI improvements, pricing analysis, investment evaluations, and process improvements
Serves as a liaison between Operations and BI partners to assist in gathering business requirements for system modifications, enhancement, reporting, and implementations
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and insights for management, lenders, and owners
REQUIREMENTS:
Working experience with population health, cost of care, reimbursement trends for FFS (Fee for service), VBC (value-based care) contracts, and ACO performance
Advanced level proficiency in Excel and financial modeling skills (use of LOOKUP’s, pivot and power pivot tables, sumifs, waterfalls, logic functions)
Proactive, disciplined, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
