Are you passionate about bringing life to plants, flowers, and herbs?
Zero-Point Organics, a specialty produce company, grows microgreens, edible flowers, and unique plants that brighten plates and palates. We’re seeking a harvester for our tight-knit team in Hempstead/Waller. Operating year-round, indoors and out, we collaborate with top Houston-area restaurants and local eateries to strengthen the hyper-local food scene—a mission we cherish deeply.
Role
- Starting pay: $11-14/hr during training, with room to grow. No experience needed—we’ll teach you everything!
- Variable M-F shifts + weekends.
- Love tending to plants? That’s a bonus, but not required.
- Support for production and harvesting microgreens, flowers, herbs and maintaining crops --> pruning, weeding, nutrient applications, soil mixing, tray cleaning.
- Bring energy, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to our small, dynamic crew.
- Learn to identify crops and master harvesting techniques (we train you!). THIS IS AN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR OPERATION. THEREFORE, MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE WORKING OUTDOORS.
- Help shape Houston’s culinary future with every harvest.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring spirit eager to learn (we’ll teach you to nurture our unique crops).
- Be an energetic pace setter (after training).
- Comfort with ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and staying active.
- Be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Weekends to be discussed, occassionally will be required.
- Bonus if you’re tech-savvy (Word/Excel skills appreciated!).
- Reliable transportation
