Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that best suit their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers, making change, and managing financial software for sales recording.
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management with precision.
- Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, processing loan applications, and assisting with loan collections when necessary.
- Maintain organized records of sales, cash handling, and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with store policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and uphold store standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred; but not required
- Strong basic math skills, including retail math and cash handling expertise.
- Knowledge of retail store operations such as cashiering, cash management, and retail math principles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to help coordinate colors and pick out design items.
