About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Home Maintenance Technician to join our growing, mission-driven team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys empowering homeowners through education and quality, skillful, work.
You’ll lead scheduled maintenance visits, standard service calls, and complete complex repairs independently. You have developed one or more technical specialties and can handle most homeowner service requests without supervision. You will help us deliver a new kind of home service - one that prevents problems before they start. You help our homeowners care for their homes as if it were your own.
At Para, you’ll have independence in the field while having the backing of a supportive, safety-first team.
What You’ll Do
- Independently perform routine maintenance services, standard repair calls, and work within specialty areas such as: plumbing repairs, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixture installation, and minor electrical.
- Assist in training junior technicians
- Deliver strong customer experience, communicate findings clearly to homeowners and answer questions, provide preventive recommendations.
- Maintain high documentation and quality standards
- Use Para’s mobile app to log work and track progress
- Represent Para’s standards of quality, respect, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or facilities
- Broad home-repair knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-care skills
- Comfortable working independently and safely in the field
- Tech-savvy (able to use mobile apps for checklists and documentation)
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Able to occasionally lift 26-50 lbs and use ladders safely (Medium Duty work)
- Background check and state-appropriate drug screen required
- 90-day probation period with performance review

- Competitive hourly pay from $35 DOE, with regular reviews
