Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you'll be a key player in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while supporting food preparation and service. Whether you're helping with basic food prep, cleaning dishes, or assisting with catering events, your efforts will help ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for staff.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up stations, organizing supplies, and ensuring timely food prep.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with basic food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for everyone working in or visiting the kitchen.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Flexibility to assist with various duties including bussing tables or supporting food prep as needed.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors.
