Job Summary
Essential Job Duties:
Develop and implement Behavioral Therapy strategies for adults with autism and dual
diagnoses.
Administer effective, individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports for clients
displaying challenging problem behaviors to improve their social functioning,
communication, and quality of life.
Assist in developing interventions, functional behavior assessments, and behavior plans
to provide a safe and effective educational environment for clients and their families or
caregivers with challenging behaviors.
Assist in developing training materials for staff and clients with challenging behaviors.
Developing and implementing an individualized and effective communication system for
nonverbal individuals.
Provide behavior therapy in many different environments, including the home, day
programs, workplace, schools, communities, and others.
Able to flex your schedule to make time for working families who may not be able to
meet during regular business hours.
Engage in bi-weekly supervision
Have reliable transportation and a willingness to use your vehicle for work-related
appointments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to push/pull/lift to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor Degree is required in Social Work, Education, Human Services, Psychology,
or a related field.
Valid Driver License and car insurance.
Experience working with individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities is
preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
