Summerhill Goat Dairy is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual to fill a full time position in our creamery. Located in Hanford, CA, Summerhill Goat Dairy produces and processes fluid goat milk for retail sale. This full time processing plant employee will work in the line of production within the milk processing plant. Duties may include operation of processing equipment before, during and after processing of fluid milk. Duties involve manual labor, including but not limited, to packaging and moving product. Qualified candidates must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and all other food safety requirements. Applicants must be able to safely lift items from 20-30 pounds and stand for the duration of the work day. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain proper certification necessary, including pasteurizer license, weights and measures and forklift certification.
