Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects. Duties
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from conception through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Develop detailed project schedules using project scheduling software to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Prepare and review technical engineering reports, schematics, and design documents utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
- Conduct construction management activities such as site inspections, construction inspection experience verification, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Engage in permitting phase involvement by preparing permit applications and liaising with regulatory agencies for approvals.
- Utilize hydrological modeling tools like SWMM and HEC to analyze stormwater systems and support hydrologic analysis for project designs.
- Lead team efforts in design engineering related to stormwater management, water treatment systems, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, and land surveying.
- Manage client communication by providing regular updates on project status, technical reports, and addressing project concerns promptly.
- Oversee the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools such as ArcGIS for spatial data analysis and mapping purposes.
- Facilitate project documentation including technical writing, drafting schematics, and managing project files efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
- Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on construction management and project engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit; familiarity with CAD drafting standards is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hydrological modeling tools like SWMM and HEC-HMS for stormwater system design.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to perform construction inspection activities with attention to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Skilled in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) for effective timeline management.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and technical report generation.
- Familiarity with permitting processes involving local agencies and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
