Job Overview
A. Bert Contracting LLC is seeking motivated and driven Roofing Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering uncapped commission potential in both residential and commercial roofing sales.
We provide the estimating, production, crews, materials, permits, and project management so our sales representatives can focus on building relationships, generating leads, and closing projects. Opportunities include retail roofing, insurance restoration, and select commercial projects.
Compensation is based on monthly production:
- 8% commission on monthly sales up to $49,999
- 10% commission on monthly sales from $50,000 to $99,999
- 12% commission on monthly sales exceeding $100,000
Commissions are paid 50% upon contract signing and deposit collection, with the remaining 50% paid upon project completion and final customer payment.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and comfortable networking, meeting with homeowners and property managers, and building long-term relationships. Previous sales or roofing experience is preferred but not required for the right individual.

Duties
- Generate and develop new residential and commercial roofing opportunities
- Meet with homeowners, property managers, and business owners to discuss roofing needs
- Conduct roof inspections and identify potential repair or replacement solutions
- Present estimates, proposals, and company services to prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
- Assist customers with insurance restoration claims when applicable
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication with prospects
- Coordinate with company management and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Network within the community to generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent A. Bert Contracting LLC in a positive manner
- Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to the company's growth
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contracts, and project information
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfortable meeting with homeowners, property managers, and business owners
- Ability to use a smartphone, email, and basic computer applications
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Previous roofing or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to climb ladders and perform basic roof inspections is preferred
- Must be dependable, organized, and goal-oriented
- Willingness to learn company processes, products, and sales techniques
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
