Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Adult Daycare Center
Position Overview: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides comprehensive nursing care to participants in an adult daycare setting. The LVN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document participants’ vital signs and health status.
- Assist in personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to participants regarding health management and wellness.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Qualifications:
- Valid LVN licensure in the state.
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Work Environment:
- Adult daycare center setting with a focus on providing a safe and supportive environment for elderly and disabled clients.
- May require standing, walking, and assisting clients with mobility.
Pay: $100.00 per day
