Summary of position:
This position in the Accounting Department is responsible for maintaining GL activities and other accounting records. Provide administrative support to one or more higher level officers to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the accounting department. Assume responsibility of certain projects that may be complex and confidential in nature.
Key job functions: (Includes current duties, primary objectives, and responsibilities which are critical to the successful performance of the position)

Assist in daily and periodic close GL activities

Assist with accounts payable process

Administrate company travel and expense reimbursement program

Prepare daily and other periodic reconciliations

Prepare monthly and other periodic financial reports for management and the board

Research various financial issues as needed

Maintain a high degree of customer care for all internal or external queries.

Review general ledger accounts for appropriateness.

Prepare and provide documents for internal auditors, external auditors, and regulatory exams.

Assist CFO as requested.

Consistently promotes the bank and maintains positive relationships with customers, potential customers, the community, vendors, and staff.

Protect the bank’s information technology (IT) systems and data by complying with technology policies.

Participates as an active member on any assigned committees or task forces.

Completes assigned training in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field, preferred.

2- or 4-year degree or equivalent working experience required

Prior banking or accounting experience will be given preference
