Busy Minds Academy is hiring a Center Director for our Centerton location.
Are you an experienced childcare or preschool leader ready to lead an established center with strong systems, a supportive team, and a program families trust?
Busy Minds Academy is looking for a confident, organized leader to oversee our Centerton, AR facility. This is an established center—not a turnaround role. You’ll be stepping into a program with a team already in place and the opportunity to build on what’s working while continuing to strengthen operations, team culture, and family relationships.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily center operations
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop staff
- Hire and retain high-quality teachers
- Maintain a strong team culture and accountability
- Build positive relationships with families
- Support enrollment and retention
- Manage staff scheduling, reporting, and administrative responsibilities
- Ensure a clean, organized, and high-functioning facility
- Support consistent implementation of center policies and procedures
- Help create a positive, professional environment for both staff and families
What We’re Looking For
- Leadership experience in a childcare or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of childcare licensing and compliance
- Organized and dependable with strong follow-through
- Confident decision-maker
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Ability to lead by example and hold high standards
- Genuine passion for children, families, and developing staff
Qualifications — Arkansas Requirements
Must be 21+ and meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years of experience or CDA
- Associate’s degree + 6+ years of experience
- 8+ years of experience + willingness to obtain required credential
Preferred
- Previous Center Director or Assistant Director experience
- Already meets Arkansas Director requirements
- Proven success with team development and staff retention
- Experience supporting enrollment and family retention
- Strong knowledge of Arkansas childcare licensing requirements
