Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant / Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored to infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their physical needs, including feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize behavior management strategies to guide positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
- Conduct child development assessments to monitor growth and identify early intervention needs when necessary.
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or childcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood education is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and overall child development instruction.
- Ability to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
