A bachelr's in educatin and/r ther related arts field f study and hld a valid and current Pennsylvania Instructinal II Elementary r Sec- ndary Teaching Certificate.
A minimum f five (5) years f successful teaching experience and three (3) years f administrative experience including a cmbinatin f sch- l-level and district-level.
Satisfactry wrk rec- rd & criminal/child abuse clearances (Acts 34, 114, and 151).
In-depth and specific knwledge in cntent, curriculum, instructin, and assessment at the elementary and secndary levels related t arts, music, perfrming arts, health/physical educatin, wrld languages, and - ther related fields.
Recent experience in planning and administering schl-wide and/r district-wide prfessinal devel- pment, preferred.
Excellent interpersnal, prblem-slving, rganizatinal, and cmmunicati- n skills
A valid and current peratr's license fr a mtr vehicle and have access t an perable vehicle fr traveling within and - utside the district.

Summary
The Directr f Arts & Wellness will create a visin fr enrichment f a cmprehensive enrichment prgram. This is an pprtunity fr a leader with brad interests and skills in team building, academics, arts (dance, theatre, physical educatin, art, wrld languages), athletics, and maker's spaces creatin and implementatin. The Directr f Cre Enrichment will prvide academic enrichment prgrams, prfessinal develpment, and supprt t teachers t integrate the enrichment int cre curriculum.
Essential Duties and Respnsibilities:
Prvides knwledge and understanding f the PDE Standards Aligned System (SAS), Higher rder Thinking, and F
- rmative Assessment.
Prvides leadership fr nging and prpsed curriculum prjects fr K-12 in the arts and w- rld languages.
Cllabrates with the Executive Directr f Prfessinal Learning t prvide prfessinal develpment fr related arts specialists and w- rld language teachers.
Recmmends ways in which the curriculum can be adjusted and integrated in supprt f district gals and Strategic Framew- rk.
Demnstrates knwledge and use f a rich array f instructinal appraches, resurces, and technlgies in instructi- n.
Build and crdinate an academic enrichment prgram that utilizes the schl's existing data and crdinates large and small grup enrichment pp- rtunities.
Engages in research related t curriculum develpment and curriculum evaluati- n.
Carry ut strategic planning in develping new prjects and initiatives in related arts c- ntent areas.
Assists in the planning and implementatin f staff, cmmunity, and parent meetings at district and building levels related t arts educati- n.
Assists with scheduling and evaluatin - f related arts specialists.
Plan and rganize activities and prjects prvided by a range f rganizatins in the arts sect- r.
Prvides leadership fr the develpment and implementatin f curriculum, including the preparatin f curriculum guides and ther instructi- nal materials.
Prvides leadership in the planning f wrkshps, perfrmances and in-service pr- grams at the district and building level.
Prvides leadership in the rganizatin and management f district and cmmunity perfrmances and events fr Allentwn Sch- l District students.
Develping and managing all curse fferings and prgramming that supprts the missin and visin f the Allentwn Sch- l District.
Maintains a cllabrative wrking relatinship with state and lcal educati- n agencies.
Participates n higher educatin, business, and cmmunity educatin advisry c- mmittees.
Crdinates with cmmunity arts rganizatins fr partnerships and services f- r students.
