Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and trusted Family Office Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead a sophisticated single-family office. This pivotal role oversees financial operations, wealth administration, trust coordination, tax planning, risk management, and strategic financial management for a multi-entity family enterprise. The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment requiring both strategic leadership and operational execution while serving as a trusted partner to family members and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management functions for multiple entities.
- Oversee tax planning, tax compliance coordination, and entity reporting.
- Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, liquidity planning, and capital transactions.
- Analyze financing opportunities, liquidity needs, and investment transactions.
- Oversee trust and estate administration activities.
- Coordinate with investment advisors, attorneys, bankers, and external consultants.
- Oversee insurance programs, risk management, and compliance matters.
- Support real estate holdings, private investments, family initiatives, and administrative projects
- Provide high-touch family office support while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, wealth management, family office, trust administration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax planning, entity structures, and cash flow management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Unquestionable discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and build trusted advisor relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, CFP, MBA, or similar professional designation.
- Previous family office, private wealth, trust company, investment management, or closely held business experience.
