Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Student Services Coordinator to support our Chinese international students during their studies in the San Diego area. This role involves communicating with students and families in Mandarin/English, providing ongoing student support, and visiting local schools as needed to ensure students' academic and personal well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to Chinese international students throughout their school experience.
- Communicate with students, agencies, host families in Mandarin and English.
- Coordinate and assist with student services and daily support needs.
- Visit local schools when needed to meet with students and school staff.
- Help resolve student concerns and collaborate with team members to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, schools, and host families.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin. (required).
- Study abroad or international education experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and cultural awareness.
- Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Passion for supporting international students and working in a multicultural environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
