In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This paid position offers an engaging environment where your skills in behavioral therapy and teaching are truly valued. Positions available are in-clinic positions. We have openings at both our Milton and Pensacola locations!
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and communication skills development
- Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client's needs
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, growth, and independence for all clients
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children, or special education is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to assist clients with ADLs and support their developmental progress through teaching and reinforcement methods
- Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently
- Compassionate attitude toward working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be patient, adaptable, and committed to providing patient-centered care in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
