MLT/MT Full Time 30hrs/week day/mid shift position for Charlotte Reference Lab located conveniently off of 1-77 and I-485.
Position: MLT/MT/CLS Full Time mid shift- Generalist. Rotating weekends
Reports to: Laboratory Manager
Job Summary:
Performs routine moderate complexity testing on blood, body fluids and other specimens to obtain data which may be used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Adheres to strict QC and QA policies.
Key responsibilities:
· Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient results.
· Works well under pressure and time constraints.
· Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient samples, results, and any problems arising with testing or reporting of samples.
Qualifications:
AA/AS/BS degree from accredited college or university
ASCP or AMT Certification but not required
1-2 years clinical lab experience with Beckman platforms a plus
Competitive Salary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
