Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic and nail extension techniques with precision and creativity
- Apply advanced nail care treatments including cuticle work, buffing, polishing, and shaping to achieve flawless finishes
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable services, and provide personalized nail care advice
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, or accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art designs, and new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments
- Assist with maintaining salon cleanliness, disinfection procedures, and inventory management to uphold high standards of hygiene
Requirements
- Valid manicurist license with certification in nail technology or related fields
- Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician in a professional salon setting
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively
