American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring a minimum of 1 year of recent ED experience and an active AL or compact RN license with no license violations.

Mid-shift schedule: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

13-week contract

Active Alabama or compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted, and no past or current hits on license

Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent ED experience

Current BLS certification required

Full SSN, current driver's license, and two professional references from within the last year required for consideration

Meditech EMR experience preferred but not required

All ED RNs are required to complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test prior to starting

No HealthStream modules required before start — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
