Child Care Center Director

Mooks Childcare Center is seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Center Director to lead our growing early childhood education program. We are looking for a strong leader who is committed to providing high-quality care, supporting families, developing staff, and ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania childcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center.
- Ensure compliance with all Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support teaching staff.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
- Build strong relationships with families and the community.
- Monitor enrollment, staffing, and classroom quality.
- Support curriculum implementation and child development goals.
- Maintain records, documentation, and licensing requirements.
- Coordinate staff professional development and training.
- Lead continuous quality improvement efforts and program growth initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Human Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a licensed childcare center.
- Previous leadership or childcare management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with Keystone STARS standards and quality improvement practices.
- Experience with the CACFP Food Program.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
