Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our team. We are a small team and therefore must combine duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel custodial services, industrial cleaning and front desk. If you have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, we invite you to apply.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain public areas, and back-of-house areas in the hotel
- Perform general duties including scrubbing, mopping, and pulling linens
-Must be able to move furniture, rugs, take out trash, must be willing to use a ladder
-Must be willing to work front desk shifts as needed
- Ensure Laundry is being done.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to hotel standards
- Restock supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Experience:
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Hospitality industry experience is beneficial
