Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient distribution, inventory accuracy, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of materials handling, shipping and receiving, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- MUST HAVE at least 1 year of forklift experience
- Maintain and identify problems with client KPI’s,
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees contractors and client’s.
- Pulls parts in accordance with job packages or order verifications, and tags the parts with item number, quantity, and description.
- Receives and inspects incoming materials, ensuring all items are verified against a packing slip, purchase order, or other documentations.
- Performs counts to support the cycle count process, store materials in proper inventory location, secures the cargo area in accordance with company requirements.
- Maintains the warehouse and cargo area in accordance with company housekeeping policy
- Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management techniques, warehouse distribution processes, and logistics coordination.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with materials handling best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Previous experience working in e-commerce fulfillment or heavy lifting environments preferred.
Hours:
7:00pm-7:00am OR 7:00am-7:00pm Rotating 12 hour shifts 3/4 days a week
Pay: $25.50 - $26.20 per hour
