Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Assist cooks and dietary staff with basic food preparation as directed.
Prepare beverages, desserts, salads, sandwiches, snacks, and other food items as assigned.
Portion and plate food according to established standards.
Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and diet requirements.
Check food temperatures and maintain proper food-handling procedures.
Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated.
Assist with preparing and setting up meals, snacks, and beverages for residents.
Set up meal trays according to residents' diet orders, preferences, allergies, and special instructions.
Deliver and serve meals to residents in dining areas and resident rooms as assigned.
Ensure residents receive the correct meal and appropriate diet consistency.
Assist with transporting food carts and meal trays throughout the facility.
Collect meal trays and return dishes, utensils, and equipment to the appropriate areas.
Assist with dining room setup and cleanup before and after meals.
Provide courteous and respectful service to residents during meal times.
Qualifications:
High School diploma
