JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Charista, you will be responsible for crafting quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

DUTIES:
- Provide a warm, energetic, and welcoming environment for customers new and returning. Always making sure to make their drink exactly as they order it.
- Do your part! Help maintain a clean and organized store at all time in both front and back of house.
(equipment, fixtures, storage, surfaces, floors, ect)
- Participate and complete all trainings, staying up to date on all policies.
- Be a team player, be kind and courteous to your team members and report anything that makes you uncomfortable or breaks a rule or law.
- Provide A+ level customer service in every step from sampling, ordering, drink making, and hand off.
- Ensure every drink that you make is 100% to recipe and exactly how the customer orders it.
- Proper cash management for register, safe, and cash transactions.
- Promote any seasonal, new, or featured items and make sure customers know about any specials we have at the moment.
- Help your team achieve their goals through up, add on, and suggestive selling.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with retail math for transactions
- Experience in food preparation is a plus
- Sales skills to promote products effectively
- Comfortable using a cash register in a busy setting
- Interest in the food industry and willingness to learn
