Compensation & Earning Potential
Hourly Pay Range: $28 – $32 per hour (Competitive rates based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
· The job requirements are to distribute, break down, compress and give a finished surface to cooling Asphalt.
· Drives machine in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling subgrade and asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness.
· Determines speed and direction of machine based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures.
· Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
· Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
· Working environment includes being exposed to hot asphalt and sun and extreme
weather temperatures.
· Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate characteristics.
· Maintain work areas in a clean and safe manner.
· Maintain a good attendance and punctuality record.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Working as part of an efficient paving crew
What We Expect
· Previous experience as a roller operator required
· 2+ years of Asphalt experience preferred, but not required
· Ability to work long hours in heat
· Reliable daily attendance
· Professional conduct on commercial properties
· Valid driver’s license required (CDL A or B holders eligible for higher hourly pay)
· Ability to lift 30-50+ lbs repeatedly
· Safety-first mindset (OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training preferred, but not required)
· Respect for equipment and coworkers
