Summary:
Monitor and supervise the pool facilities, enforcing policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and policies

Keep facility clean and organized

Know facility’s emergency action plan, and how to engage it

Perform lifesaving duties when needed
-
Answer member questions and follow up on requests

Assist with the opening and closing the pool as needed

Act as a resources and service person for participants

Assist in examining facility for safety hazards

Aid participants with injuries by providing First Aid and CPR, and document all injuries and/or issues properly

Attend all scheduled meetings

Maintain a good level of physical fitness

Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
- Currently certified as a lifeguard with a Nationally Recognized association and currently CPR, First Aid and AED certified

Must be able to pass a swim test and have a good level of physical fitness

Must possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as quality people skills

Possess good leadership skills

Excellent customer service skills
