Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes accurately to maintain quality standards
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing work surfaces
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with catering events to ensure timely and professional service
- Contribute to a positive guest experience through friendly communication and attentive service during meal times
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Previous banquet or hotel culinary experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and quality standards
