Overview

Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee forklift operations and mechanical equipment use, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline shipping & receiving procedures.
- Maintain strict inventory control through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities to prevent discrepancies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or in a similar warehouse management role with demonstrated team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems, materials handling equipment (such as forklifts), and logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, OSHA regulations, and best practices in heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Warehouse Lead experience in environments requiring strict inventory control and process optimization is preferred.
