Duncan Integrative Medicine is seeking a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Washington State Certified Medical Assistant to join our primary care team.
We are a small, fast-paced medical practice where teamwork is essential. Our CMA will work closely with both our MD and ARNP and will primarily support the back office and clinical side of the practice, while also assisting at the front desk on occasion when needed.
Because we are a small practice, everyone works together to keep the day running smoothly and to provide an exceptional experience for our patients. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for visits with the MD and ARNP
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient intake information
- Review and update medications and medical histories
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Communicate with patients regarding provider instructions and test results
- Process medication refill requests and communicate with pharmacies
- Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and coordination of care as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Support providers throughout the clinic day to help maintain efficient patient flow
- Assist with front-desk responsibilities on occasion, including answering phones, scheduling, and greeting patients
- Work collaboratively with the entire team and assist wherever needed to support the practice
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential
- Experience working in a medical office or primary care setting preferred
- Comfortable working with medications, pharmacies, and patient communications
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Willing to step in and help teammates when needed
- Professional, positive, and compassionate approach to patient care

Compensation: Wage dependent upon experience
