Andreozzi + Foote is a national plaintiff-side law firm focused on representing survivors of sexual abuse in litigation against institutional defendants like churches, schools, day cares, camps, and others.
Andreozzi + Foote is looking for a Plaintiff-Side Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is a remote position for a highly organized civil litigation paralegal who thrives in a tech-forward remote legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload (paired with one ore more attorneys) from initial filing through trial and/or settlement, including disbursements.
- File legal documents in state and federal courts in a variety of jurisdictions across the US. Experience with New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland preferred, but not required.
- Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, deposition scheduling, filing and discovery deadlines, service of process, and all other tasks associated with litigation.
- Manage a large inventory of mass-tort style sex abuse matters in a variety of state and federal jurisdictions all over the US.
- Manage discovery, including service of subpoenas, discovery responses, and discovery requests.
- Prepare basic legal filings, like discovery motions, stipulations, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sexual abuse survivor clients, ensuring the firm's clients are well-supported throughout their cases.
- Work seamlessly within a cloud-based, paperless environment using A+F's tech-based case management tools (Filevine, Lexis+, Teams, Calendly, and more).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in plaintiff-side civil litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal court rules.
- High proficiency in case management software and remote collaboration tools, preferably Filevine.
- Familiarity with legal research tools (Lexis+)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- A team player with a proactive mindset and a commitment to client service.
