We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers in the city of Burbank and Monrovia area to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being.
- Support mobility and transfer needs using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques.
- Be capable of working with tall/heavy clients
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when needed.
- Maintain detailed care plans, document patient progress, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings to promote social engagement.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization.
Skills
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or aging populations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments, nursing homes, or home health care settings.
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification preferred but not required.
- Experience working with residents who have Alzheimer’s disease or dementia; understanding memory care strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Hoyer Lift Experience
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting or using patient transfer equipment safely.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
