We are a growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm seeking a motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career attorney who wants hands-on experience, litigation exposure, and mentorship while building a successful career representing injured individuals.
What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload under attorney supervision.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy.
- Take and/ or defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, etc.
- Defend/ take deposititions.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
- Work closely with experienced trial attorney from case intake through resolution.
- Some travel required to the corporate office in Woodland Hills on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law
- Minimum 1 year legal experience.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance matters is a plus but not required.
- Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
