Responsibilities:
- Assist with lunch set-up at the serving site
- Serve meal components in proper portions
- Maintain program NSLP guidelines for “Offer vs. Serve”
- Maintain clean and sanitary work area at all times
- Monitor return of trays and utensils (stored in tub at ARS to return to MS) and washed at MS between grade service
- Be proactive and assist in any other way needed during lunch service
- Monitor activity in lunchroom to insure a safe environment
- After lunch service, clean tables (put away daily at ARS), clear any serving equipment for washing (ARS takes to MS), sweep floors, dispose of trash
- At MS, clean and sanitize all counters and sinks in the kitchen
- Wash all equipment used for lunch service
- Shutdown dishwasher and wipe down counters and sinks in dishwasher room
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by Food Service Director or ARS Cafeteria Manager
Requirements:
- Current Illinois Food Handler Certificate required.
- Training (4 Hours required by NSLP)
