Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Architecture Draftsperson to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documentation that bring innovative building concepts to life. Your expertise in CAD software and 3D modeling tools will be essential in translating design ideas into accurate, comprehensive plans that meet building code standards and client specifications. Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs comply with local regulations and standards.
- Prepare construction details and technical specifications for various building systems, including mechanical and interior design components.
- Assist in system design and graphic presentation materials, including 2D animations and schematic diagrams.
- Support project teams by reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an architecture draftsperson or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Skilled in 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max, and other related tools.
- Solid understanding of building code compliance, construction detail documentation, and engineering CAD design principles.
- Knowledge of construction processes combined with practical construction experience is a significant advantage.
- Ability to interpret architectural schematics and technical drawings accurately while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong graphic design skills for creating compelling visual presentations and system designs.
