Overview:
Are you a customer service-minded Class A or B CDL driver looking to join a great team, stay busy year-round, and be home every night? We're seeking an experienced CDL driver with or without SPAB certificate — and we'll pay you to get your SPAB!
At Avalon, we offer a mix of charter and contract work, with most drivers working 50+ hours a week. During peak seasons, our drivers can earn over $10,000 per month, not including tips!
Pay & Earning Potential:
- $29/hour starting pay
- $31/hour for SPAB charters - get paid Yard-to-Yard at SPAB rate!
- After one year: $31/hour ($33/hour for SPAB charters)
- Year-round work available
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers along assigned routes
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle issues to Maintenance promptly
- Assist passengers with luggage when necessary
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 2 years CDL experience
- Clean driving record, pass background check, DOT physical, drug screen
- SPAB certificate helpful - Earn more $$ with SPAB or get paid to train!
