Atlas is seeking a LICENSED PART TIME 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER to work in our Integrated Facility.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses - crisis episodes
- Prescribe medications and medical for primary care treatment plans/ Follow up visits, referrals. M.A.T Lab follow ups, screenings.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- This position will be responsible for performing thorough medical evaluations and overall patient care management including ongoing assessments, medication management.
- Part Time= 2 clinics weekly min. Vacation covering, more hours available.
Key Responsibilities of Family Nurse Practitioners
- Discussing of long term hire after 90days. (Temp to perm)
- Diagnosis and Treatment: FNPs diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions. They develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and can prescribe medications and therapies as necessary.
- Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Tests: They have the authority to order diagnostic tests such as blood tests, X-rays, and other imaging studies, and interpret the results to inform treatment decisions.
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: FNPs focus on preventive care, educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention strategies, and managing chronic diseases. They play a crucial role in promoting wellness within the community.
- Documentation and Compliance: They maintain accurate patient records, documenting all assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. FNPs must comply with healthcare regulations and standards to ensure quality care.
Pay: $75.00 per hour
