Job Summary: A Security Film Installer is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and applying security films to windows and glass surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Your primary goal will be to enhance security, privacy, and safety by installing high-quality films according to client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Preparation:
● Visit client sites to assess the requirements for security film installation.
● Measure windows and glass surfaces accurately to determine film dimensions needed. ● Prepare the work area by cleaning and prepping the surfaces for installation.
Film Cutting and Application:
● Cut security films precisely according to measurements using appropriate tools.
● Apply security films to windows and glass surfaces, ensuring a proper fit and alignment.
● Use specialized techniques to remove air bubbles and ensure a smooth, uniform application.
● Apply edge sealing and finishing touches to enhance film durability and aesthetics.
Quality Control and Testing:
● Conduct quality checks to ensure the film is applied correctly and meets client specifications.
● Test the integrity and effectiveness of installed films to ensure they meet safety and security standards.
Client Communication and Support:
● Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
● Provide guidance and recommendations on the best security film options based on client requirements.
● Address client inquiries, concerns, or issues regarding the installation process or product performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
● Maintain accurate records of installations, including measurements, materials used, and client details.
● Prepare installation reports and documentation for each project completed.
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a security film installer or a similar role in window film application.
● Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and applying window films with precision.
● Knowledge of various types of security films and their applications.
● Familiarity with tools and equipment used in film installation.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.
● Ability to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time, consecutively from job to job
● Must pass federal background check
