We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Oversee banquet preparations and execution, ensuring timely service and quality of dishes served.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Participate in food production tasks as needed, demonstrating proficiency in various cooking techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory management and food safety regulations.
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.
- Experience supervising kitchen staff and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control.
