Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Home Care Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Arlington, Texas. This position is responsible for managing billing functions, claims processing, payment posting, and insurance follow-up to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for home health services.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Adjudicate EVV visits in KanTime
-
Approve clinician timesheets in KanTime
-
Create and submit Managed Care claims
-
Process Episodic NOAs and Final Claims
-
Submit Secondary Insurance and Private Pay claims
-
Resolve claim deficiencies and clearinghouse errors
-
Post insurance and patient payments accurately
-
Investigate, appeal, and correct denied or unpaid claims
-
Maintain and update billing tracking reports
-
Review Medicare claim status through DDE (Medicare Fiscal Intermediary System)

Contact private pay patients regarding outstanding balances, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts

Post payments and reconcile billing records
-
Verify EVV setup and compliance for all applicable patients

Collaborate with the billing team to resolve outstanding claims

Assist with departmental projects and additional billing tasks as needed

Previous medical billing experience preferred

Home health billing experience strongly preferred

Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Insurance billing preferred

Familiarity with KanTime or similar EMR systems preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
